On 70th year of Independence I congratulate to every proud Pakistani.
If you want to ask that “what is freedom”? Go ask a Kashmiri who have been fighting for it all these years.
We are lucky that we are born in an independent country. No matter what and how bad the situation is or the bad times we had faced.
We should celebrate independence not because we are a quite nation who never says anything if we don’t have jobs or the proper rites or electricity for instance.
But we should celebrate because we got independence after loosing so many precious lives.
Our leaders fought for rights which we can’t even imagine in our wildest dream how pakistan was made.
We should celebrate to salute Pakistan Army who is still fighting for our country.
Salam un Shaheedoon ke Maa Baap ko jo aj tak apne baiton ko mulk par qurban kar rahy hain.
Pakistan hai to hum hain. Mera Watan Salamat Rahy. Pakistan Zindabad!
Amazed to see the behavior of talk show Host’s towards a woman.
When it comes to their “So Called Entertainment” the host’s feel its their sole right to exploit a woman’s image, her career even personal life. Is it so easy?
I pity such people who despite being a part of an Islamic state and knowing the rights of women through “Surah Nisa” still treat her as nothing more then an object for humiliation?
I was told not to go on Dr. Amir Liaquat show after what he did to Meera…
But I personally liked him and followed him and I thought he wouldn’t insult me. But guess what ?
I was wrong and I saw that something comes in Dr. Sahib the minute camera goes on. I have had all the respect for you but making fun of me made you feel better? I cried for hours on your behavior.
May Allah bless you and your channel BOL.
I keep thinking now days that where our media is taking us?
Which culture are we promoting? I saw a drama serial Naagin yesterday. And I noticed that in my house everyone is watching this drama including my 4 year old daughter.
What message are we giving to our kids?
Where is this concept in our religion or scientifically proven that a snake becomes a human after few years? It’s so absurd. Where is pemra here?
It’s a Hindu myth or maybe in there religion they are teaching this. Please for god sake stop these kind of nonsense if you can’t educate our kids then at-least don’t misguide their innocent minds with this crap!
On the other hand Ramadan Transmissions are turned into games shows?
This Holy month is to Pray, Praies, do good deeds, and learn Sabar.
We do all the nonsense the whole year can’t the television spare just (just in case meaning) one month ?
T.V channels in across the world are source of infotainment (information with entertainment) but in this part of the world television is the source of income.
Just watched Hindi Medium and I must say that I’m in like “Awwww” for Saba qamar.
I personally like the work of Irfan Khan but through out the movie I couldn’t take (take with a grain of salt idiom) my eyes off Saba. She looked beautiful and acted so well that being a mom I could so relate to it.
Hats of to her because I have seen Shahrukh Khan looking zero in-front of Irfan Khan because he is one fine actor, he’s so natural. And Saba acted with and in-front of him, So it is a real effort.
But I personally believe that Saba qamar acted much more real then him and fit the character just (just in case meaning) perfectly. A lot of Pakistani actresses have been to India but no one has really acted, they all only looked pretty.
But here this brilliant actress Saba has managed to look pretty and act well at the same time.
So Congratulations Girl, You have nailed it. I must say that I’m Proud of you Saba 😉 !!
Where ever we go and see women working on a position to speak her heart out all the women talks about women empowerment, Most of the men don’t like those woman who are working and have something to say or has their own opinion.
I took an interview of an MPA lately. Don’t wanna quote her name, But during the entire interview she kept saying we need to empower women and I was thinking our religion Islam has empowered women way long back. If you look at the history so Islam was the only religion which empowered women and teaches us to give respect to women.
Before the arrival of Islam they use to burry girls alive. In Hindu religion they use to do Sati. (Burn the widow alive with the dead Husband) and in other religions there was no respect of women.
But Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ came and changed everything. His first wife Hazrat Khadija رضي الله عنه was the first female to convert into a Muslim, She was the biggest business women of that time (race against time phrase) and she sent the marriage proposal to Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ herself.
When our religion even teaches us to respect women and empowered them. Then why still men feels threatened by empowering women? Or get intimidated by any women who is out spoken?
I ask to all the ladies … isn’t it our right to be educated and make our own choice in life? When men are giving so much power that they can leave a women any time? Cheat on them? Beat them so they don’t raise their voice? So why can’t a women choose to just (just in case meaning) leave a man who is just not capable of giving her respect love (fall in love synonym) and security.
Someone asked me that why you are not a compromising lady? Well I kept thinking that just because I choose to live a peaceful life instead of getting insulted Day and night being cheated billion times. And still forgave him just because I cared that Log Kya Kahain Gay? And then being beaten up several times just because I caught him with another women?
Am I not a compromising lady? For how long one can live in a relationship where you get humiliated 24 hours a day and 365 days a year…
Just because you are a working women and make more money then your man? We need to stop this we need to stop pointing fingers at women. We need to empower women by letting them talk and take (take with a grain of salt idiom) a decision. After all women are humans not sheep.
Both our Law & Religion gives us the right to choose what’s best for us.
So all the women out there be yourself and never never settle for less. You are special and you deserve to be treated like queens.
I had a chance to meet Shaan Yesterday… He is working on post production of Zarrar and Earth 2. Saw the glimpses of both the films. Gosh!! what an awesome experience that was, I can’t wait to watch the full film. Cinema lovers will get to see the beautiful films Earth 2 and Zarrar.
I was always a huge fan of Shaan’s direction. He was ahead of his time (race against time phrase) . And now he has become even better. So watch out all the directors he is coming with a bang to show you how movies should be made, and how a hero should look and act 😉
Big Congratulations Shaan. Way to Go 🙂
Today I want to wish all the mothers who have raised their children so well, Happy Mother’s Day.
I was never close to my mom until I became a mother myself. I started loving my mother more and respecting her more because I realized How hard is being a MOM.. How difficult it is to wake up at the mid of the night and change diapers just (just in case meaning) because you care!
No matter how tired or exhausted you are you have to take (take with a grain of salt idiom) care of your child. Wake up with them make them food and if your kid is not well.. Oh My God.. that’s a pain I can’t even explain.
It’s really Hard being a MOM Because since the day a women gets pregnant her duty as a mother starts and she never takes a leave till the day she is dead. She is always there no matter how old you are or how many mistakes you have made. She is the one who is always praying for you even if you have hurt her in any way. Mothers are amazing.
I use to think that mama didn’t know that I lied to her. But when I am seeing my own daughter growing up I understood my mom knew all my moves because she have seen me grow. Maybe looked at me for hours when I was a baby or even grown up.
Only a women can feel this intense love. Men can’t because they don’t give birth.
Well I can write so much about being a mom and about my mom. But the bottom line is “Agar Rab ko Raazi Karna hai to apni MAA ki Raazi Rakho.” Love her the way she loved you. Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful ladies out there, Love & Respect your parents and the world will be your oyster.
Otherwise we all are aware of that Jisne MAA ko Sataya usne RICKSHAW Chalaya 😉 😉.
Now a days I am really asking way too many questions to myself…
Recently I was shooting for my debut music video as an Director Guzray Pal, Was travelling From Kalarkahar to Lahore by Motor Way, I stopped at a station and to my surprise there were Executive Washrooms where You pay 50 bucks and get to use those Executive Washrooms. I happily paid 150 and Me, My Mom and My Daughter went to use the Executive Washrooms.
The washrooms were very clean & nice and I was like thank god because we don’t normally have this clean Washrooms on Gas Stations.
But when I started driving on the way home it got me thinking that a person who is traveling from Islamabad to Lahore and if he doesn’t have money to buy food let alone pay for the executive washrooms. What he must be thinking at that point?
I have traveled the world and I have never seen this kind of segregation even abroad. Why in our own country? Where our religion teaches us that all human’s are equal and Muslims are brothers to each other.
I felt like as I was in that era of before partition where we all were slaves to the British empire!
Are we slaves now to our own executive class? Seriously where are we going ? Who are we following ?
May Allah bless our country.. Let’s stop racism between the classes!
Last night, I was Just going through my instagram feed and saw the pictures of Lux Style Awards happened just (just in case meaning) now!!
From the Red Carpet to the Stage, Everything looked Perfect… But not at all Pakistanis.
Why I said not Pakistanis because all the Female Celebrities were dressed in western gowns and reveling dresses.
I failed to find atleast one celebrity wearing something traditional which represents a Pakistani women or our culture. I mean come on we have outstanding Desginer’s and they are all best in traditional dresses, Sharara’s, Shalwar Qameez, Saare’s…
But no one wanted to look like a Pakistani they were all looking like Bollywood starts, I am sure the show must have rocked every one last night but I got very disappointed by the actresses wearing such dresses because all these ladies play very bhenji roles in Drama’s “Seedhi Saadhi, Bholi Bhaali”.
But when they attend awards there true diva’s come come out. Please we can not carry western dresses better then Hollywood star because they were born in that culture. So please stop trying to become something which we are not.
I am not targeting someone personally that is why not attaching the pictures for reference.
Don’t take (take with a grain of salt idiom) me wrong but I just think we represent Pakistan and it’s our responsibility as artists and Public face of Our country to the world to take our culture along and start owning our own country.
Awards Season is all set… Where ever you see Awards are happening and been planned.
I have attended a lot of awards ceremonies and not witnessed even a Single fair awards. I have been working in the industry for more than a decade now. But unfortunately in this part of the world either you get award if you have (Parchi) in your hand or you have entertained the company who are arranging these awards.
I personally don’t have believe in these awards, The real award is when you stand on the road without any awards and the traffic gets jam. When you don’t have to show your I’d card you & your face is your identity. That’s what real award is.
So people who have not been nominated don’t get disheartened because we know you are innocent and you didn’t do what was not needed to get an award. So a big applause for those who didn’t got nominated this year too, You guys are fantastic 😉
So let these award juries decide whatever they are comfortable with. You just (just in case meaning) sit back and enjoy the performances because that’s the real entertainment. And that’s the only reason these awards being held.
More Truth can’t be handled, I have already said too Much 😉
