Just watched Hindi Medium and I must say that I’m in like “Awwww” for Saba qamar.
I personally like the work of Irfan Khan but through out the movie I couldn’t take (take with a grain of salt idiom) my eyes off Saba. She looked beautiful and acted so well that being a mom I could so relate to it.
Hats of to her because I have seen Shahrukh Khan looking zero in-front of Irfan Khan because he is one fine actor, he’s so natural. And Saba acted with and in-front of him, So it is a real effort.
But I personally believe that Saba qamar acted much more real then him and fit the character just (just in case meaning) perfectly. A lot of Pakistani actresses have been to India but no one has really acted, they all only looked pretty.
But here this brilliant actress Saba has managed to look pretty and act well at the same time.
So Congratulations Girl, You have nailed it. I must say that I’m Proud of you Saba 😉 !!
I had a chance to meet Shaan Yesterday… He is working on post production of Zarrar and Earth 2. Saw the glimpses of both the films. Gosh!! what an awesome experience that was, I can’t wait to watch the full film. Cinema lovers will get to see the beautiful films Earth 2 and Zarrar.
I was always a huge fan of Shaan’s direction. He was ahead of his time (race against time phrase) . And now he has become even better. So watch out all the directors he is coming with a bang to show you how movies should be made, and how a hero should look and act 😉
Last night, I was Just going through my instagram feed and saw the pictures of Lux Style Awards happened just (just in case meaning) now!!
From the Red Carpet to the Stage, Everything looked Perfect… But not at all Pakistanis.
Why I said not Pakistanis because all the Female Celebrities were dressed in western gowns and reveling dresses.
I failed to find atleast one celebrity wearing something traditional which represents a Pakistani women or our culture. I mean come on we have outstanding Desginer’s and they are all best in traditional dresses, Sharara’s, Shalwar Qameez, Saare’s…
But no one wanted to look like a Pakistani they were all looking like Bollywood starts, I am sure the show must have rocked every one last night but I got very disappointed by the actresses wearing such dresses because all these ladies play very bhenji roles in Drama’s “Seedhi Saadhi, Bholi Bhaali”.
But when they attend awards there true diva’s come come out. Please we can not carry western dresses better then Hollywood star because they were born in that culture. So please stop trying to become something which we are not.
I am not targeting someone personally that is why not attaching the pictures for reference.
Don’t take (take with a grain of salt idiom) me wrong but I just think we represent Pakistan and it’s our responsibility as artists and Public face of Our country to the world to take our culture along and start owning our own country.
Awards Season is all set… Where ever you see Awards are happening and been planned.
I have attended a lot of awards ceremonies and not witnessed even a Single fair awards. I have been working in the industry for more than a decade now. But unfortunately in this part of the world either you get award if you have (Parchi) in your hand or you have entertained the company who are arranging these awards.
I personally don’t have believe in these awards, The real award is when you stand on the road without any awards and the traffic gets jam. When you don’t have to show your I’d card you & your face is your identity. That’s what real award is.
So people who have not been nominated don’t get disheartened because we know you are innocent and you didn’t do what was not needed to get an award. So a big applause for those who didn’t got nominated this year too, You guys are fantastic 😉
So let these award juries decide whatever they are comfortable with. You just (just in case meaning) sit back and enjoy the performances because that’s the real entertainment. And that’s the only reason these awards being held.
More Truth can’t be handled, I have already said too Much 😉
I saw the teaser of upcoming Pakistani film “Punjab Nahi Jaungi”
It made me feel so proud that finally we are producing films which are not less then big budget movies from across the border.
Director has made every frame so grand that you can’t stop watching it again & again.
The Direction, Art direction, Cinematography, Background score, costumes & Actors everything looks just (just in case meaning) perfect. Yes, the star cast is from TV so it looks familiar but you can see the hard work behind every little scene.
A big bravo for the Six Sigma & ARY Films and when I got to know that script is written by Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, It gave me goose bums.
This film will definitely be the biggest hit of 2017. I read some blogs written things like Humayun should act according to his age.
Well for me Humayun is acting according to his age and not looking less then any other renonwed Bollywood Star. His Expressions & Body Language is just perfect for the role.
Pre-congratulation to team Punjab Nahi Jaungi from my side, Can’t wait to watch the film.. Mark your calendar’s! It’s releasing on Eid ul Adha
Dharma production undoubtedly impresses me with its grand and big production. Badrinath Ki Dulhania started with lots of laughter’s, I Must say very good comedy. And the sets, Location, Wardrobe, Cinematography & Choreography was out standing.
Music didn’t meet my expectations. But over all the film was entertaining.
The thing that impressed me the most, that it is a message based film. There’s a Message for people who take (take with a grain of salt idiom) dowry, A Message for people who mange to fulfill the demands of dowry.
I won’t reveal the story because I want everyone to watch the film. Acting was 10 on 10 Varun Dhawan & Alia Bhatt did their best.
Till the interval the movie is really interesting but after the interval director just (just in case meaning) kept taking wrong turns.
So for me unnecessary dragged the film. I was like when it’s going to end? Conclusion
It’s a one time (race against time phrase) Must watch for a good laugh & contains a Strong Message as well. So enjoy the movie. On the scale of 1 to 10 I would rate it 7.
Balu Mahi, Another Drama on Big Screen. Technically film was very weak, cinematography was good, Composition of the shots were not right. The only good thing was Annie Jaffri who looked beautiful and acted well. Songs were good and well shot. So called film critics and bloggers who are going crazy for the movie should at least be honest any way and support Pakistani cinema. So far I can only say Jawaani Phir Nahi Aani and Actor in Law were good. Except these movies all were dramas. Jo hamari movies ko bura kehty hein they should really watch Pakistani old movies at least they were films not drama.
